‘Big Sky’: Photos Released for Season 3, Episode 1 “Do You Love An Apple”
ABC has released photos of the season 3 premiere of Big Sky: Deadly Trails, which is set to premiere this Wednesday, September 21.
The episode is titled, “Do You Love An Apple,” and you can read the synopsis below:
“It’s been a few months of relative peace in Helena, but all that’s about to change when Sunny Barnes and her family set up Sunny Day Excursions just outside of town. From the moment they arrive, things begin to go awry, with Cassie being called in to investigate a missing backpacker and the new sheriff in town, Beau, partnering up with Jenny to track down a murderer on the loose. A mountainous mystery begins to unravel for Cassie Dewell and Jenny Hoyt.”

According to a new report coming in from Deadline, former Lost and MacGyver star Henry Ian Cusick is poised to recur this season alongside Blindspot alum Luke Mitchell, Seth Gabel, Anirudh Pisharody, and Madalyn Horcher.”
“Big Sky country is about to get a little less spacious: The ABC drama has added five actors to its cast for the upcoming Season 3, according to our sister site Deadline .
The five additions, all in recurring roles, center on Reba McEntire’s newly introduced backwoods outfitter Sunny Brick and an ill-fated wilderness trip she leads. Henry Ian Cusick (MacGyver, The 100) will play tech executive Avery, who books himself and his stepdaughter Emily on Sunny’s excursion. Luke Mitchell (Blindspot, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), meanwhile, will play Sunny’s son Cormac, who helps lead his mom’s outdoors trips.
Anirudh Pisharody (9-1-1) and Madalyn Horcher (Doom Patrol) will play Luke and Paige, a young couple from New York who join Sunny’s trip to celebrate his birthday. The animated series, coming to TV midseason in December of 2022, is based on the much loved book series of the same name.
The WingFeather Saga by Andrew Peterson is “a four book fantasy adventure series for young people, described as The Princess Bride meets The Lord of the Rings.”
The story is coming to life, thanks to 8,000 + Angel investors who helped to raise five million dollars. Angel Studios is partnering with the WingFeather Saga team to distribute the multi-season series which will premiere this winter.

He sounds like a very interesting character indeed and Ian’s fans are excited to see and hear him in this unique and different role.
