Ian Attends The Wind and The Reckoning Private Screening in Hawaii

On April 7, 2022 HIFF hosted a private screening for The Wind and The Reckoning, for cast, crew and special guests,

at @ConsolidatedHI Kahala Theatre.

*As an outbreak of leprosy engulfs 19th-century colonial Hawai’i, a small group of infected Native Hawaiians resist government-mandated exile, taking a courageous stand against the provisional government in a story inspired by real-life events.*

Ian travels to Thailand to Film ‘1 Million Followers’

Recently Ian posted on his Instagram story, a selfie photo from the Phuket International Airport with the comment:

“Anything I shouldn’t miss?”

That left fans everywhere, wondering if he was there for a holiday or work?

Actually he was there for both!

Ian was shooting a new indie film while in Phuket, Thailand…followed by a visit to Bangkok with his lovely wife Annie, before returning home to Hawaii.

Information released so far on the film, is it’s title – ‘1 Million Followers’ and per Ian, he plays “a Russian villian.”

Producer Rachel Morgan was asked about the film too and her reply was:  “All I can say for now is it’s a social media based thriller that takes place primarily in Phuket.”  The film is directed by Harvey Lowry.

Some of the cast also includes Patrick Atchison, Constanza Palavecino, Shelley Q, and Jade Ma.

Filming took place in February and March and with it now concluded, and in post production we await further news!

Ian Announced For Comic Con Liverpool 2021!

Ian’s first in person fan convention appearance in 2 years and it’s happening next month in November, in Liverpool, England! Come meet him November 13 and 14, 2021!!

Upcoming Dream It At Home Virtual Con For Henry Ian Cusick

Ian has been announced for Dream It At Home Con 15, the virtual fan convention hosted by Event Brite. Ian will appear on Sunday, Sept 19, 2021…

This will mark his third appearance with the convention. He will be doing live 1-1 video chats as well as 3-1 video chats.

In addition, he’ll have a live group meeting room and will record videos too for fans wanting those.

Lots of options for fans to choose!

Henry Ian Cusick Elected To Represent His Union, SAG-AFTRA

We are pleased to announce that Ian was elected to be a representative in SAG-AFTRA, the main actors’ union.

Ian ran as part of MembershipFirst – “an organized community of SAG-AFTRA members and leaders who’ve come together to protect the rights and interests of every member in every category of our union.” Ian will represent Hawaii as a National Board Member, a Local Board Member, and a Convention Delegate.

Congratulations, Ian…this is exciting news, and we know you will represent Hawaii and be a great support to your fellow union members.

‘Russ Taylor’ From Tatiana (Video)

One of Ian’s biggest supporters, Tatiana who’s on Twitter @Tat_Yatanis……treated Ian and fans to her latest compilation video of his most recent TV character, Russ Taylor from MacGyver!

Tatiana’s videos are some of the best when it comes to fan made videos…….it’s commonly said she uses her “Tat Magic” to always bring an entertaining video viewing experience for fans everywhere. Whether its her magic or more what we believe is, her amazing videography skills, one thing is certain. It’s always a pleasure watching them!

In this one, she captures so much of Russ’s sense of humor and unique charm, which made him a fan favorite rather quickly when Ian joined the cast for the show’s 4th and 5th seasons.

While CBS announced plans not to renew MacGyver for a 6th season, disappointing the show’s fans worldwide, we’re so grateful CBS gave Ian the opportunity to bring Russ to the screen and in a character that both he and viewers enjoyed so much.
