John Fusco‘s The Wind and The Reckoning is getting closer and closer to coming to the screen!

The true life story of the Leper War on Kaua’i is depicted in this chilling and moving film.

Synoposis:

The Wind and the Reckoning reveals the real-life story of a Native Hawaiian ranching family that defies the newly established provisional government and faces down American mercenaries rather than have their freedoms callously ripped away. For the first time in a feature film, the Battle of Kalalau unfolds through the eyes of the islands’ indigenous people as they take a stand against oppression.

Produced and directed by David L. Cunningham, with a multi talented cast consisting of Jason Scott Lee, John Schaech, Lance Kerwin, Lindsay Watson, Ron Yuan, Matt Corboy, Alex Farnham, Sisa Grey, Nick Masciangelo and Henry Ian Cusick.

Ian took an exciting and fun new turn with his latest television project, voice acting in the role of Peet The Sock Man for

The Wingfeather Saga !

The animated series, coming to TV midseason in December of 2022, is based on the much loved book series of the same name.

The WingFeather Saga by Andrew Peterson is “a four book fantasy adventure series for young people, described as The Princess Bride meets The Lord of the Rings.”

The story is coming to life, thanks to 8,000 + Angel investors who helped to raise five million dollars. Angel Studios is partnering with the WingFeather Saga team to distribute the multi-season series which will premiere this winter.

For information on Ian’s character Peet, you can read his bio here: Peet The Sock Man .

He sounds like a very interesting character indeed and Ian’s fans are excited to see and hear him in this unique and different role.

Below are video clips with the creative team behind the series, including author/executive producer Andrew Peterson, and executive producer and show runner, J.Chris Wall, discussing their casting of Ian for the role.

LOST fans will find them particularly interesting and enjoyable, as it is revealed that Ian’s character of Desmond was an inspiration to Mr. Pearson as he was writing Peet! We think hearing Ian as Peet (there’s a peek of him at work in the 2nd clip)) will bring a pleasant surprise to LOST fans as well!
