Visible Review:
Best of the Hollyshorts Film Festival
Rachel Bohlen, Aug 22, 2016
“Here are my top 5 favorites from this year’s festival.
(1) Visible (Directed by Clay Delauney)
Decades in the future, the human race becomes invisible. No one knows why. Slowly, a small number of people begin to reappear without any explanation. Our protagonist, Guy (played by Henry Ian Cusick, from Lost), still invisible, runs an art gallery. His life is shaken up with a visible woman walks into his gallery. The concept of this film is fascinating, and the cinematography is beautiful. The world is desaturated, almost in greyscale. Even though the film only clocks in around 15 minutes, we experience an emotional arc with the protagonist as he falls in love with the stranger in his gallery. You can watch the film here. “
Enjoy this interview with Visible director Clay Delauney!
He discusses how Visible, written and produced by Andrea Snider, co-produced with Henry Joe Productions came to be…. and how Ian and Sonya became involved in the project.

PALI ROAD is a mesmerizing and chilling journey into the mystery of the human psyche and the power of love. Lily (Chen), a young doctor, wakes up from a car accident to discover she is now married to her boyfriend’s affluent rival, Dr. Mitch Kane (Kang), has a six-year-old-son, and an established life she has no recollection of. Everyone around her, including her parents, deny that her boyfriend, Neal (Rathbone), ever existed, sending her on a desperate search for the truth. Determined to reclaim a life everyone insists is nothing more than an illusion, Lily eventually begins to doubt her own sanity. Struggling to overcome her seemingly hopeless situation, Lily endures a series of unexplainable and haunting incidents while bravely making her way to an ultimate mind-bending truth about the power of true love.
Shot entirely in Hawaii and starring Chinese superstar Michelle Chen, TWILIGHT’s Jackson Rathbone, Sung Kang (FAST FIVE) and Hawaii’s own Henry Ian Cusick (The 100, Lost), PALI ROAD is a story for the search for true love between two worlds. Her search for the truth to her past life will lead her to question everyone around her and her entire existence.

The latest film project for Ian is a horror western story by Chad Ferrin titled Horse.
Read more about it in this DreadCentral.com press article published March 16, 2016.
Casting Firms Up For Chad Ferrin’s Horror Western Horse
By Debi Moore
“We’re big fans of the horror western here at Dread Central so when we got word that Chad Ferrin’s Horse, a project that’s been in the works for a few years now, is getting under way with some casting news, of course we had to share it!
Henry Ian Cusick (pictured below; “The 100,” “Lost”) and Jansen Panettiere (Eden Falls, Summer Forever) have both joined the cast of Horse, which is written and directed by Ferrin. While Ferrin’s background (which includes such films as The Chair, Somebody’s Knocking at the Door, and Easter Bunny, Kill! Kill!) is certainly horror-centric, this new film should fit in as it’s being described as “Django Unchained on steriods” with promises of it being “gross and twisted.” Sounds up our alley, right?
In any event, keep an eye on the Horse Facebook page, and stay tuned for updates as production should be kicking off soon.”
Synopsis:
Horse is an homage to Boetticher, Peckinpah, Ford, Hawkes, Fuller, and Leone. It is vengeance/siege/chase/masculinity/morality packed into one hell of an action-driven western.
In the Old West, a man relies on two things to survive – his gun and his horse. And Luther Cobb just lost one of those, his beloved horse, Bud. Cobb is a man of true grit, having fought in the Civil War and skirmishes in the American Indian Wars. He has seen plenty of bloodshed and is now on the trail of those responsible for killing his friend.
Happy to report the newest film project for Ian is the film Rememory directed by Mark Palansky and co written by Mark Palansky and Mike Vukadinovich.
The film is currently shooting in Vancouver through February 20th and also stars Peter Dinklage and Julia Ormond.
Other cast members include Evelyne Brochu, Martin Donovan, Courtney Richter, Carrie Anne Fleming, Gracyn Shinyei, Colin Lawrence, Jordana Largy, Matt Ellis and Katherine Kirkpatrick.
